I was born in Saskatoon, SK, in the 1900’s. Purchased my first motorcycle in 1966, 250cc Suzuki, white, lots of chrome (the real stuff), dual exhausts and wide white wall tires, it was a beauty. It was an era when Japanese bikes were making their debut into North America. Since then, I have 1975 GL1000 GW, owned & sold a 2006 GL1800 GW, owned & sold a 2015 GL1800GW, and currently riding a GL1800 GW, dual clutch transmission, air bag and custom colour Wing. I only started riding a lot after joining GWRRA Calgary Chapter AB-A in 2006. With like minded people the trips and miles started adding up quickly and what a life time experience. I have ridden in 48 states many times over (except Alaska and Florida), traveled nine provinces (except Newfoundland), and two territories. I have served as Chapter Director for GWRRA for many years and served in various capacities with the Chapter. I am currently very proud and pleased to serve as President of our newly formed Alberta Road Riders Association (ARRA). I can’t speak for others, but when I am riding my favorite pony (Gold Wing) all my aches and pains seem to disappear and worries vanish. There is nothing more exhilarating than riding down the open road on your favorite pony.

I am an avid motorcyclist with wide variety of interests in motorcycling from touring, collecting and rebuilding vintage machines. Started riding early in life as a teenager once the family break was completed it’s been a full time two-wheel hobby ever since. The best part about motorcycling is the friends and adventures that I’ve made.

Hi everyone, I am the club Treasurer. I love to ride and being retired, I have time. Once committed to a ride, I proceed no matter what the weather has to offer, as I am always prepared. Riding is my Zen time. Being out on the roads with nature keeps my soul at peace.

Hi everyone, I am the club Secretary. It took me 4 years to get on as a co-rider behind my husband. I have since logged many miles on lots of great holidays with our motorcycle.
